Delete your Astuto account
Astuto is a daily quiz app made by Astuto Ltd. You can delete your Astuto account at any time, in the app or by email. This page explains how, and what happens to your data. It follows our Privacy Policy.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Astuto and tap Settings (the gear icon at the bottom right).
- Scroll down to Account and tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete account, then Yes, delete my account to confirm.
Deletion happens straight away, and the app signs you out.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Astuto Plus subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions) or, on iPhone, in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
Delete your account by email
If you can't use the app, email privacy@astuto.gg with the subject “Delete my account”. Include your Player ID, which is shown at the top of Settings in the app and starts with AST-. If you no longer have the app, tell us your display name or the prize email address you linked instead.
We'll confirm by email when your account has been deleted, within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your display name, chosen topics, streak and lifelines (Streak Shields and reveals)
- Your prize email address, unless a prize was issued to you (see below)
- Your birth year and avatar
- Your device ID and sign-in tokens
- Ad-free time and Astuto Plus status held on your account
- Push notification tokens and your marketing choices
- Referral links between your account and friends' accounts
What we keep, and for how long
